Normal people would have taken shelter in the cozy homes to make cookies and watch movies. Nope, not us.
It started with me driving down to AV Friday night to take care of my parent's dogs (Drake and Bella). They are on cruise, lucky them. Then I drove back up to St. Paul on Saturday morning around 9am. It took an hour. And visibility kinda sucked but wasn't too horrible yet. Somehow Tony and I got a grand idea to go out to lunch. I think it was mostly to cheer him up because he was really bummed about not being able to go ice fishing. We bundled up, took the car out of the garage, and headed to Roseville!
Trying so hard not to smile...
Needless to say, we were the only customers at Joe's Crab Shack!!! We had never been to one and since Tony has slowly converted me to a seafood-loving fool, it was a great time to try it out. Luckily our server was awesome and in high spirits despite the awful weather and lack of customers.
We ended the day by packing up the car and heading down to AV so we could all be together with all the dogs. That was kind of a fun/scary drive!
Apparently they are not fans of photo shoots...
P.S. Originally the Vikings game was delayed due to the Giants being stuck in KC. However, around 5am this morning, the dome collapsed! Check out it out on video:
Let's hope for a win in Detriot tomorrow night... and a new stadium
