Back It Up, Back It Up...

Heyo! So I am backdating all the posts I missed over the last two weeks (see this note). In order to not miss them, go back to around July 30th and read forward (in time) from there! Hopefully that makes sense :) Sorry to mess with the program here!

Two Weeks?! Oops...

It's been two weeks since my last post! So sorry blog readers :(

I recently earned a promotion which also meant changing offices. I am back and forth between both right now until we can train someone in at my old office. So... this means working about 10 hours of overtime a week, plus working up to nine days straight... and trying to get everything ready for our five day trip to the boundary waters! Needless to say, it has been a little stressful.

I plan on catching up on some blogging this weekend (after I get off work of course). Hopefully I can make it happen!

Easing Back In...

So I have been avoiding the blog world for a multitude of reasons. These include, but are not limited to, telling myself that we must get our thank you cards done before we can do anything else, we have to de-clutter our place and finish unpacking and decorating, my camera is dead, etc.

"The Excuse Queen" (as my husband as so kindly nicknamed me) is done! I enjoy blogging far too much to avoid it for such piddly reasons. If no one ever reads this, oh well. I am doing it to make myself happy, to de-stress, to record memories, and for a variety of other reasons I cannot quite form the words for.

And so it begins... again.

...another post! I have some great ideas brewing... but have been spending the majority of internet time putting together a budget plan for me and Tony. We started a new class about two weeks ago about managing our money. We really want to start our marriage out on the right path and since money seems to be the leading cause for divorce, we want to get a handle on it right from the get go.

So stayed tuned... hopefully tomorrow! My free Saturday of having nothing planned suddenly turned into 1) Picking up my car 2) Picking up the dog 3) Grocery shopping 4) Working out with Kel 5) Driving my parents to the airport 6) Hanging some decor 7) Hanging with three big black dogs. Hmm.

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile... I can't find my camera! And it's much more fun to post things with pictures so you can visualize what I'm talking about. I will look for it tonight... it's got to be around somewhere...

I have added a page to the links above - Wedding FAQs! This is a section that I will update regularly as new questions come up for our wedding guests. If you have any questions, please comment below or send me an email. I will respond directly to you, as well as post it under the FAQs. This is a great way to spread the word about all the little details.

Added Pages

Hello everyone! I added some page links at the top of the main blog part, below the main heading to our blog. You should be able to click on the different buttons and be brought to a page for Horseshoe Bay Resort, Walker Activities, Dining, Directions, etc. I may rearrange these in the future but this is the info I have up for right now :)

It has been a pretty long and busy week but we are looking forward to getting back to the planning this week. Save the dates will be going out to family this week and friends by the end of February.

P.S. I tried on a few dresses this weekend! It was a lot of fun but I didn't find the one. Got some great ides though. Special thanks to Tanya, Abby, and Ash for coming with!!!
